Not really...
So I love mecha and spaceships. Especially models of mecha and spaceships. For some reason I'm a masochist and love to torment myself by building models from scratch and then casting them in resin. Fortunately people want to buy my kits so I get a little reimbursement for my time...
Original parts are made of styrene and epoxy putty (usually Milliput) with the occasional exotic material like aluminium. Parts are then moulded in silicone and cast in urethane resin. I seldom get around to painting stuff, but fortunately have talented friends to do it for me.

Commissions are a double edged sword - at first it's really flattering that somebody wants to pay you a chunk of money to create a model of something for them. But the reality is that if it were something you really wanted to do then you would have done it anyway, so by the end of the project it can get a bit tedious.
I really can't complain though, and I try to remain fairly picky in what commissions I take on...
